L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lip Butter.

I love these lip butters! They are so moisturising. very similar to the Revlon Colourburst lip butters. But for some reason I prefer these L'oreal ones! I find them to be longer lasting and more moisturising. I've had this in the colour Cheeky Magenta for a few months now and have been loving it. I usually wear it on nights out.. its a lovely bright pink colour that is so pigmented and lasts ages. So i decided to get a couple more colours from the range because I was so impressed with it. I chose Lovely Rose and Nude Ingenue.

I chose these colours as they are more subtle so I thought they'd be perfect for everyday wear. I've worn the nude one everyday for work since I got it, it's perfect for everyday use and just gives a nice bit of colour to the lips without looking too overpowering. I really love the baby pink colour too, it's a gorgeous shade (again without looking too bright). As you can see from the swatches they are very pigmented despite being a lip butter, and like i mentioned above they are really moisturising too. These little lip butters are honestly great, I can't fault them. If you haven't tried them yet you should definitely get your hands on some!

Just to summarise what I love about these:
  • Super moisturising.
  • Lovely range of colours.
  • Really pigmented colour that lasts ages.
  • Not too pricey.
  • Sleek gold packaging with helpful colour sample on bottom.

Revlon colorburst lip butter.

I have been wanting to try the Revlon colorburst lip butters for a while now, I've heard amazing things about them and I'm a sucker for lip products in general anyway. I didnt buy one because Ive been desperately trying to save but I eventually gave in the other day! I bought the 'strawberry shortcake' colour, I figured this would be a wearable colour for everyday use so I would get the most wear out of it. I love the shade of pink, its not too bright but still pigmented. I wasn't sure whether this product would live up to the hype but I can safely say... it does! I can't wait to try it in a different colour (Ive got my eye on 'tutti fruiti') but I will try and restrain myself for now or I will never manage to save up any money!

I love everything about this product really, from the packaging to the overall result of the product when its on! Its so easy to apply it doesnt require a mirror, and it's really moisturising. The colour also stays for a good couple of hours too. Overall i can't recommend these enough, I think theres a colour to suit everyone too so you can't go wrong!

Sally Hansen natural butter lip shine.

Sally Hansen Natural Butter Lip Shine - 99p

Whilst browsing on the fragrance direct website the other week for a few bargain bits I spotted this Sally Hansen lip butter it was an absolute bargain at 99p so I thought I'd give it a go. I chose the shade 'lush' it's a very nude shade, I tend to go for pink or coral lip colours and haven't had a nude one in a while so it caught my eye. I'm really impressed with how it looks on, I wasn't expecting it to be as visible as it is with it being such a nude colour. Excuse the odd face I'm pulling on the second photo but here's an example of what it looks like on when I wore it the other night:

As you can see it's not an overpowering colour but I'm really liking it as a subtle colour as it won't be too much for the day time / at work. Anyway, hope everyone is having a lovely Easter weekend!
