Body Shop tea tree range.

Apologies for the rubbish quality photo but I couldnt wait to blog about these products I love them! I haven't been in the Body Shop in ages but went to Cheshire oaks with my flatmates today, so we had a look in. I have been wanting a face scrub particularly one that targets blackheads so I picked this up straight away. It was 30% off if you bought 2 items so I went with the foaming face wash as they're my favourite kind of face wash and I figured the 2 products would work well together:) I will put the links below to the products on the body shop website! With regards to the prices the scrub was £5.50 and the face wash was £4.50 but I ended up getting both for £7.00 which I was happy with! I doubt i would have paid full price as there are much cheaper alternative available!

I love the face wash as it removes makeup really easily without irritating my skin, including a lot of eye makeup which is a must have for me with a face wash and I can't stand it when they sting my eyes, so i am impressed with this one so far! I also love the tea tree scent, it is quite a strong scent but a nice one! I'm loving the exfoliating scrub so far too, it contains 'crushed apricot stones' and it just feels really nice when rubbing into the skin, as well as the lovely tea tree scent. After using both products together my face felt amazing and baby soft, I followed this with my clinique mositurising gel which is still my staple product!

Garnier Comforting cleansing milk.

I've been using this Garnier simply essentials comforting cleansing milk for around 3weeks now and I really like it as its so kind to my skin, there is never any irritation at all, and it successfully removes all traces of makeup! I usually use about three cotton wool pads when applying the cleanser, one for each of my eyes to remove all eye makeup, and then one for the rest of my face to remove all traces. It has a slight scent but nothing too harsh and uses 'soothing water lily extract', it claims to be suitable for very sensitive skin and i would agree, although my skin isn't overly sensitive it can become irritated, especially around the eye area when I am removing a lot of eye makeup.

Overall I'm impressed with this product, and it's not expensive at all (I think i picked it up for around £1.99 but that may have been an offer!) I've been using it in conjunction with Simple soothing facial toner and my beloved Clinique dramatically different moisturising gel!

Elf eyebrow kit.

My flatmate lucy got this little eyebrow kit from elf a while ago.(you can check it out here!) I started trying it out a couple of times last week and I was really impressed with it, so i went to buy one for myself but unfortunately they're sold out on the website. My flatmate has the eyebrow kit in 'ash' as she has blonde hair and fair eyebrows. The ash colour works for me too, however I find it to be a little too 'grey'. So I think when they come back in stock online I will get myself the 'light' colour instead as I prefer my eyebrows to be more of a brown colour! When I saw that the kit was out of stock on the elf website I decided to look on ebay for one, however there were none of the elf kits. I found an alternative by NYC (check it out here.) This arrived the other day and to be honest I'm not very impressed with it. I ordered the lightest shade 'blonde' but it doesn't really make any difference to my eyebrows when I apply it as it's such a light shade, so it was pretty much a write off. I'm still going to get an elf one as soon as they're back in stock, i also think they're very reasonably priced too at £3.50!

I'm really impressed with the elf eyebrow kit from the few times Ive used my flatmates. The gel is really easy to apply with the small angled brush and its easy to get the shape you want, then they powder sets the gel to keep the colour in place. Each time I've used it my eyebrows have looked perfect all day / night without any smudges or anything. I would recommend this eyebrow kit. Which other eyebrow products do people use? Any recommendations?
