Garnier Comforting cleansing milk.

I've been using this Garnier simply essentials comforting cleansing milk for around 3weeks now and I really like it as its so kind to my skin, there is never any irritation at all, and it successfully removes all traces of makeup! I usually use about three cotton wool pads when applying the cleanser, one for each of my eyes to remove all eye makeup, and then one for the rest of my face to remove all traces. It has a slight scent but nothing too harsh and uses 'soothing water lily extract', it claims to be suitable for very sensitive skin and i would agree, although my skin isn't overly sensitive it can become irritated, especially around the eye area when I am removing a lot of eye makeup.

Overall I'm impressed with this product, and it's not expensive at all (I think i picked it up for around £1.99 but that may have been an offer!) I've been using it in conjunction with Simple soothing facial toner and my beloved Clinique dramatically different moisturising gel!

Skin care regime.

I decided to share my current skin care regime as my skin has been feeling great lately and I feel like I've finally found a good routine.
For the past couple of months I have been using a facewash I picked up from Morrisons it's just a cheap brand I think it was called 'so clear'. To be honest I was really impressed with it and would definitely buy it again, it was around £2.70 which is about average for a standard face wash I suppose! The past couple of days i have been using this Garnier fresh essentials cleansing gel wash. I really like the scent it's nice and refreshing, however i feel like it irritates my eyes quite a bit, and I usually like to use a face wash which will remove all my eye make up. I think with this face wash i will have to use a wipe or some other kind of makeup remover along side it. That is my only criticism, i think it works really well as a facewash to cleanse and leave skin feeling fresh, and i picked it up when it was on offer in Sainsburys so it only cost me around £1.70 which is good!

I have been using this Simple soothing facial toner for a while now and I really like it, it doesn't irritate my skin at all but it gives that nice tingly clean feeling and ensures that all traces of makeup are gone. This is one of the best toners I've tried. I've previously used Clinique clarifying lotion however I felt that really irritated my skin and sometimes felt like it was burning! I like the way this simple toner is very kind to skin and not too harsh! I will definitely be buying this again.

I've previously reviewed this here. I can't stress enough how much i love this moisturiser it's hands down the best product ever for me! I don't know how I ever lived without it, i use it 2 / 3 times a day now and it makes my skin feel amazing. I'd definitely recommend it! Pricey but worth every penny.

Anyway that's my current skin care regime and it seems to be working pretty well for me at the moment! I don't really tend to have 'problem' skin I rarely get spots so i'm quite lucky but my skin has been feeling smooth lately so I'm putting that down to my skincare! I also try to avoid wearing makeup wherever possible, as soon as I'm home i'll take it off I hate sitting about with a full face of makeup, my skin just feels greasy!

Garnier BB cream review.

I've decided to start a little product review blog as I love buying new beauty products regularly so I thought it would be nice to have somewhere to share my thoughts on them! I have lots more to add as there are a lot of products I'm dying to review but I won't bombard you with them all at once, I'll try to spread them out a little!

The first product I'm going to review is the Garnier BB cream.

I decided to buy this after a couple of friends started using it and they recommended it to me. I tried out my flatmates in 'light' and I was really impressed by it so that's when I decided to get myself a bottle! I decided to get the 'medium' colour as I thought I would mostly use this for heavy coverage on nights out (under foundation) but I have since found that it provides great coverage on its own and I tend to use it more during the day just with powder over the top. In retrospect I should probably have got the lighter colour and I'm actually considering buying another tube of it in 'light' as I'm really impressed with the actual product. I think it gives excellent coverage and looks fine to wear on its own even though its more of a tinted moisturiser than a foundation. I tend to have quite oily skin which is why I use powder over the top to minimise shine, however I think for people with dryer skin it could be used alone and it would be sufficient.

Overall I'm really impressed with this product and I would definitely recommend it! I only paid £7 for it which isn't too bad, I think it generally retails around £9.99 but it was on offer at asda when I bought it!

Hope this review has been helpful! jess xo
